At 1:43pm Lionville units along with Uwchaln Ambulance (87) were dispatched to Rt 100 and the Turnpike Interchange for an accident with ejection. First arriving units reported one vehicle into a pole with a fire in the engine compartment.
Engine 47-5(Lt. Beans) pulled a trash line for fire suppression while the crew from Rescue 47(FF Kagel) assisted EMS with patient care.
47 operated for 20 minutes before returning available.
