February 17, 2010 the Thorndale Fire Company along with Coatesville City fire Department, Modena Fire Company, VA Fire Department and a Tanker From West Bradford Fire Company was dispatched to a reported House on fire on Walnut Street in the McGarghy Heights Section of Caln Township. On arrival of Caln Police reported a working fire.
Deputy 38 requested a working fire dispatch which added additional apparatus from stations involved as well as a Rapid Intervention Team from the Lionville Fire Company. PECO was requested to the scene and stand-by's put into place.
Crews encountered a heavy smoke condition from a fire in the bathroom. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and ventilated the house.
