On Wednesday February 10th, 2010. The Kennett Fire Company responded to the 400 Block of McFarlan Road in Kennett Township for the report of a building collapse during blizzard snow conditions. TAC 24 responded and arrived on scene to find a storage building partially collapsed due to excessive amounts of snow on the roof. Fortunately there were no occupants inside at the time of collapse. The crew from TAC 24 secured power to the building and remained on scene until it was turned over to the property owner.
