PASSING OF HONEY BROOK LIFE MEMBER GLENN A. ESWORTHY

Glenn A. Esworthy, 62 yrs., of East Earl formerly of Honey Brook died peacefully and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Hospice of Lancaster County in Mt. Joy, while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Coatesville on March 9, 1947. He was the son of the late Charles and Marie (Miller) Esworthy. He was the husband of Ethel M. (Zink) Esworthy, with whom he shared 44 years of marriage.
Glenn was employed for 24+ years with Dopaco in Downingtown, as a receiver in the warehouse. He was a member of the Honey Brook Presbyterian Church & a lifetime member of the Honey Brook Fire Co. He took pride in his Ford trucks and passed his passion for Ford to his daughters and grandsons.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers & a sister. Glenn is survived by 2 daughters, Michele M. and her husband Joseph M. Nonnemaker of Mohnton and Sandra L. "Sandy" Esworthy of Pierce, NE; a brother, Robert Esworthy of Myrtle Beach, SC; 4 sisters, Marion Campbell of Pomeroy, Evelyn Klinovski of Sadsburyville, Janet Wagner of Lancaster, and Linda Kauffman of Blue Ball. There are also 2 grandsons, Joseph "Boe" Nonnemaker, Jr. & Jeremiah Nonnemaker.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 18, 2010 at 11 AM at the Honey Brook Presbyterian Church, 4510 Horseshoe Pike, Honey Brook, Pa., with Pastor William J. Wisneski officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. A calling hour will be held on Sunday from 6 to 8 PM at The Labs Funeral Home, Inc. 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa. The family will also receive friends on Monday from 10 to 11 AM at the church.
